• exported BGM tracks to 128kbps instead of 320kbps to save storage
• changed space bar sound cause i didn't like the old one
• changed default BGM to powerline noise for less aggressive initial experience :]

basic mod, initially made after a friend asked me for my shader.

decided to commit to making a full mod because I love Lain.

Let's all love Lain.

gave the browser a general CoplandOS feel with a blue colour scheme, as well as the previously mentioned blue shader. shader WILL tint videos, photos, colours, etc. blue.

*IF YOU ARE DESIGNING SOMETHING ONLINE, SELECTING COLOURS FROM A COLOUR PALLETE SITE, OR JUST DO NOT ENJOY THE BLUE TINT ON PHOTOS AND VIDEOS, PLEASE BE SURE TO DISABLE SHADER! <3*

some sound effects were either clipped from the "track 44" scene, or just selected to fit a late 90's - Y2K "futuristic" theme. generally same idea as frutiger aero or something lol

i edited them all to remove noise, and turned the volume down so they don't blast.

if you wish to change anything else in the mod, i encourage you to go into the Opera extentions file in your APPDATA folder and start tweaking my mod to your liking, that's how i learned and ended up completely making this mod! just be sure to adjust your "manifest.json" file accordingly along with the other changes! (not for BGM changes)

MODIFYING BGM:

BGM file names are case sensitive, so please type carefully, or refer to very bottom of description to copy them!

All mod files are located in:

C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable\Extensions\[FOLDER NAME]\1.X.X

mine showed up as:

C:\Users\[MY NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera GX Stable\Extensions\cjfefooaegbdnggoonmgeghimmdnnlko\1.1_0\

within the mod's music folder, just simply change the name of "Powerline_Noise.mp3" to something else, and rename your desired BGM track to "Powerline_Noise.mp3" ! :)
